Blended Learning Workshop in CPH

ILC conducted a Blended Learning Workshop last February 9, 2016 at the College of Public Health Computer Lab. Attendees were various faculty members from CPH spearheaded by Prof. Maylin C. Palatino of the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. The initiative was recommended by Committee on ILC CPH Representative Dr. Paul Adrian V. Pinlac.
Discussed by resource person Dr. Iris Thiele Isip- Tan, ILC Director, among others, were Blended Learning, its most common learning models, its advantages and benefits for the students and teachers alike. She likewise gave an overview on how the University’s very own learning management system, UPM VLE, or UPM Virtual Learning Environment, would be able to help the faculty members innovate their teaching approach and at the same time engage their students more.
